What is IATA IDX

IATA Incident Data eXchange (IDX) program is a worldwide, aggregated, de-identified database of incident reports including flight operations, cabin, ground operations safety and security occurrences.
In 2019 IATA launched a new incident management program, the Incident Data Exchange (IDX), that replaces (and combines) STEADES and Ground Damage Database (GDDB) into a single system to collect and analyze safety and security incidents.

GALIOT provides a simple and easy-to-use user interface for selecting GALIOT occurrence reports and downloading well-formatted XML files specified by the IATA IDX data exchange protocol.
